Dear students and parents,

I was given today by Ms. Fairy a link to a website containing reading books online. I created my class, so each one of you should log in and read as many books as possible.
Let me know if you were able to access it. It is an amazing tool, very useful for all of you who want to improve their reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.Enjoy!

Dear parents,

As I informed you in the beginning of the year, I am trying to set up a class library for my students, so they can start enjoying reading without being forced or pushed.
My idea is to bring carpets, some cushions, pillows or bean bags and make a reading corner. I want to thank Eyad (Year 4) and his parents for being generous. He brought to school a nice rug for my Year 4 reading corner. If anyone else can help us with anything, I and my students, would be grateful.
I am doing my best to bring a rug for Year 5, too. We also need books, lots of them. If you have some to spare from home, please do. My students will take care of them and at the end of the year your child will take them back home.
I am sure that my students will benefit from this and they will start asking you to buy them new books :)

Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation.
