Dear parents and students,
As I said in my class handbook, one of my goal this year is to make my students read more, and enjoy what they read. I am sure that, maybe because of lack of time, or other activities that your children have during the day, they have very little time to take a book and read.
That is why I wanted to create my class library with lots of books, brought in by my students, a small carpet and pillows where they can enjoy their time with a book in their hands. I can't do that without your help. We already have some books and a librarian, who is so eager to start giving his colleagues to read, but we need more.
Please, dear parents, help me to help them. We need more books and an old rug / carpet / bean bag to create a special atmosphere for reading. The books will be returned at the end of the year, so don't worry about this.
Thank you for all your help and understanding.
Have a great weekend.
Best wishes,
Ms. Diana
Dear Parents,
Grade 5C and 5D finished and presented, on Thursday, one of their projects. They were asked to create 4-6 characters out of potatoes and then write a 5-paragraphs story about them. Some students did an excellent job, bringing materials, being creative, and very involved in the process, enjoying their time. Others, unfortunately, still need to understand that projects are very important, they are a great part of the learning process.
A big thank you to the parents who helped their children with the neccessary materials. Grade 5D parents - you are awesome.
Have an excellent weekend.
Regards,
Ms. Diana

Dear Students,
I hope you'll have an active weekend studying for the next Sunday exam. Please forget about playing, games, club, or other fun activities for a couple of days and concentrate in your studies, as the exam will be long and serious, covering everything that we studied this quarter.
Feel free to write comments if there's something unclear.
Good Luck!!
