International Food Festival - grade 5C news

Dear students and parents,
I would like first to wish a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all my wonderful mothers who are trying their best to give their children a life full of happiness.

As you know, our school will celebrate on April 2, 2015, International Food Festival. Our class chose to represent Romania. We need to prepare the following items:
    - traditional Romanian food
   - costumes
   - brochure about the country
   - flags
  - a poster about the country
I already talked to a Romanian lady who will prepare for us most of the food. She was a professional chef back in my country, so I am sure that she'll cook something delicious. I already chose the menu with her.  She will calculate the price and then I'll let you know how much we should collect.
I would like to have 1-2 volunteers from my lovely mothers who will help me during the festival. If anyone is interested, please let me know.
We have a little problem with the costumes, as the traditional ones are difficult to make, I suggested for the girls - black skirt + white blouse + black vest
                            or
                   - red skirt + white blouse + red vest
                      or
                  - white dress (without any drawings or colors)
the boys - black pants/ white pants + white shirt + black vest
                         or
                  - black pants/white pants + short Egyptian galabeya (which is also worn in my country)
Here are some pictures of traditional costumes.
I would like the girls to have the hair tied in a bun, just like in the pic, or braided.

Please let me know within 2 days if it's possible to get these costume items.
If any of the parents would like to help us in any way, please contact me.
I hope and wish that we'll be the best class during the festival, but for this to happen we'll need all your help.
Thank you very much.

I will post today the link for the optional Compare-Contrast Essay that I showed in class (5C). Everyone is welcome to try his/her skills and then, either save and send it to me in my e-mail, or print it and hand it to me in the class.
Have fun!
