Dear 5C parents,
As you might know by now, next Thursday, Feb. 5th, 2015, my students will participate in the sports day. Our class was assigned the color yellow for the t-shirts. I am sure that this is not such a common color to have in the wardrobe, so I was thinking if any of you knows of a place that sells cheap t-shirts. We can collect the money, buy the same for the whole class and maybe write on them with big letters 5C.
Please let me know if it's a good idea, and if we can do it.

Study worksheets
Dear 5C,
I gave you on Thursday some practice worksheets to study for your exam. I want you to check the ones for the vocabulary from the stories because there are some mistakes that I want you to correct. I was given these sheets, I didn't do them myself, so I had no idea of the errors.
On the first page change the words paraphrase with summary and summary with paraphrase in the examples. The 2 examples gives are: first of a paraphrase and second of a summary.
On the 3rd page, the vocabulary words from 'Dear Mrs. Parks', please add to the list the word control-tower. I know it doesn't belong to this story, but who made the sheets added it by mistake.
Please let others know about these changes.
Thanks and good luck with your studies.
If you have any questions you can ask here or send me e-mail. I will check it regularly these days.

Dear students,
I had so much fun watching the presentations of your projects the past week. I knew I had smart, creative students, but some of you exceeded my expectations. Most of you put a lot of effort in your creations, that's why I am really proud of you.
Great job, everyone!
I decided to add some of the pictures I took during the Thursdays' presentations. If there is anyone missing, I will add later on.
Enjoy!

Happy New Year!
Dear students and parents,
Happy New Year to all of you! I hope the new year will bring only health, happiness, and successes.
I hope you enjoyed the vacation and you are coming back to school with full energy.
Don't forget that we'll start a new story this week, so please bring the Trophies.
The spelling quiz should be on Monday, but I will postpone it till Thursday, to give you enough time to go back into studying mode.
Try to finish your projects, because the deadline is next Thursday. I can't wait to see your presentations.
